Phone chargers draw electricity even when a phone is not plugged into it. An average phone charger uses more than 40-kilowatt hours every year or 93 pounds of CO2. Save electricity by unplugging your chargers when not in use. This is the same for laptops, iPods, digital cameras, and Blackberry chargers.
